My music is rooted in faith, shaped by experience, and driven by purpose, I make hip hop that hits hard, heals deep, and helps people grow. My goal isn’t just to make music, but to say something real. I rap to reflect truth, speak life, and create space for people to process, feel, and grow. Sometimes healing starts with a beat but real change begins when we actually listen.

Bio.

G arland, Texas based artist, Jenny Lampz is a Filipino American rapper. Her music is reflective of her real life experiences and strong Christian beliefs, which are made apparent in many of her works. Because of her background in public education, her songs are described as positive, family friendly, and constructive. Jenny has used hip hop to provide music that teaches with the intention of causing listeners to be reflective of their own lives. As a second generation immigrant, Jenny became intrigued by the art of rap in her young years but did not begin writing until much later in life. Growing up, her influences included mainstream artists, such as Eminem, J. Cole, and Drake, but in realizing the power of words, she began to gravitate towards artists who spoke life, such as Aaron Cole, Andy Mineo, and Lecrae. As an artist, Jenny chooses to use her abilities in writing and rhythm to provide her audience with music that not only “hits hard,” but also allows listeners to shift their mindsets to grow and build.

WHY
Make ‘Em Double Up

In the sport of basketball, players who are deemed as a larger threat to causing a loss are “doubled up.” This is when two defensive players (rather than one) are assigned to stop the one player to continue scoring or making plays that end with scoring. The phrase “make ‘em double up” is a mindset that is embraced with our artists. Make ‘Em Double Up artists are described as unstoppable, relentless, and persistent when creating music. “Doubling up” is a fundamental concept that has been adopted in all aspects of life- “doubling happiness,” “doubling finances,” “doubling our influence,” etc. Make ‘em double up means to say that an increase and positive growth is a way of life.
